What ports are you trying to enable, the 10 Gbps ports?

       - Actually what are you connecting on those port(s) , what kind of device , is it fully functional w.r.t networking (?)

Hello,

have a look at the document linked below, I think that is what @Leo Laohoo is getting at. Certain ports need certain licenses...

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/asr1000/install/guide/1001HX_1002HX/b_ASR1001HX-1002HX_HIG/b_ASR1001HX-1002HX_HIG_chapter_0110.html

HI,

Actually there is Bay0 and Bay1. Bay0 has Gig ports and Bay1 Has 10Gig Ports.

@Georg Pauwen  Yes there is need of port license for ports 4-7  but ports 0–3 can be enabled by default in both Bay respectively.

@Leo Laohoo I am trying to enable ports 0-3 from both Bay but no success.

@marce1000 I am connecting SFP-10G-SR with OM3 cable At Bay1 and GLC-SX-MMD at Bay0. Yes they are fully functional.

Thanks...

The router was only purchased with the most "basic" license.  The only ports that can be enabled are 1 Gbps.

10 Gbps ports will never become enabled until the higher-end license is enabled.
