AutoLearn and Annex-D

I was told by AT&T that I needed to make sure my router was set to AutoLearn and Annex-D. What exactly is this and how do I configure it? I'm using a 2811 with a T1 CSU/DSU WIC.

Hi, these are the LMI standards for your Frame Relay T1. Just configure lmi-type ansi and the pvc (dlci) number given by the SP.

That's fine, however, I've been running lmi-type cisco for 3 years since this circuit was installed. Why would I have to change it now? Thanks.

Not necessarily, in fact the switch may even be auto-sensing LMI. You may ask telco why they are telling you that and if it means they are changing something.
