Back-to-back router with WIC-2A/S interface

Hi,

When I plug a DTE cable (X21-MT) on WIC-2T interface the interface controller appears "DTE V.11 (X.21)" but when I plug the same cable on a WIC-2A/S interface the state is "No serial cable attached"!!!!

Routers: Cisco 2811

IOS 12.3(8)T4

Can you help me... Due to this I cannot put my back-to-back routers...

1.try checking if interface has a hardware problem.

2.Clock rate informations:WIC-2T supports up to 2.048Mbps

WIC-2A/S supports up to 128K sync

Also check to verify whether the WIC-2A/S is set up for async or sync operation. For this cable it needs to be sync.
