bandwidth command in tunnel interface

Hello - I am aware "bandwidth" interface command is for Higher level protocols to take routing decision. Also how it influence the tx/rx load calculation (TX Load = Output rate / Bandwidth command set  * 255)

I have a typical scenario.

interface Tunnel40
bandwidth 384
ip address 10.100.44.20 255.255.252.0
ip mtu 1400
tunnel source Port-channel22.70
tunnel mode gre multipoint

Router#show int tunn 40

 Internet address is 10.100.44.20/22

 MTU 9960 bytes, BW 384 Kbit/sec, DLY 11000 usec,

 reliability 255/255, txload 182/255, rxload 169/255

This TX / RX load in Tunnel interface make us worry. Though my Physical interfaces and Portchannel interfaces configured in tunnel interface is very minimal in utilization, the TX and RX load under Tunnel 40 is abnormal.

Can we ignore this TX/RX load of Tunnel 40?

regards,

SAIRAM
