Hi all
As the title suggests we have a number of VRF-enabled VTIs between our DCs that each currently have an OSPF adjacency established. We would like to implement BFD to support faster fail over. Given the above, has anyone implemented this? We have the ASR1006 model of router with an ESP-100 so it's beefy enough.
Thanks

I haven't personally done it, but it is a good option.

Thanks Philip. I have come across that doc.
Was hoping someone may have had some real-world experience in a similar scenario.
Thanks

Hi all
Just a quick update. I deployed BFD on our OSPF-enabled VTIs last night and all seems to be OK. Actual config was simple and currently no issues, not that we were expecting any.

We were having issues with BFD over IPsec VTIs running BGP. Dropping randomly for less than a few seconds. Cisco informed us that BFD over IPsec VTIs isn’t a supported configuration. So we removed BFD from our VTI interfaces.
