Hello everyone,

can you please help me to set up the BFD with BGP protocol between the two routers A and B, knowing that I work with static routing and ping is ok between RA and RB,

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Kindly read through the below link & it would help you a lot with respect to BFD over BGP.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/15-1sg/irg-sup-for-bfd.html#GUID-F4FF8AFE-4DA4-441B-967C-2ABE75450B87

Hi Vignesh,

I have already seen it, but I did not understand this example, you have another?

Best Regards,

Hi vignesh,

you need first to setup a bfd session between the two routers

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/15-1sg/irg-sup-for-bfd.html#GUID-44D9B5FE-3402-4B25-BF41-677F9287801D

when you see the session up with "show bfd neigborhs", you can enable bfd support on bgp with:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/15-1sg/irg-sup-for-bfd.html#GUID-C47FA8F7-B982-424B-828A-367FA34A475B

you can verify the setup with the command "show ip bgp neigbohrs X.X.X.X" , you will see a line about BFD
