We have created a new BVI interface on our ASR9912 routers for a video network. After we created this BVI it has been creating latency on our Phone circuit connections (PRIs) that connect to the same ASR router on a seperate VRF. We have tried to configure QoS on the PRI interfaces which are layer 3 but still have the problem. Once we take out the BVI interface the latency drops to normal levels. I know the ASR 9912 routers are not really designed for Layer 2 but the BVI interfaces work great on our older ASR9010 routers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
