Hi,
First time Cisco user. Have a question about C1111-8P. I would like to use this router just like a regular router with no any additional license. DHCP, DNS, and NAT. That is basically it.
I am trying to run DayZero setup, but it never finishes successfully. It did not work on both 16 and 17 versions.
Currently I am trying this set this up on my internal network, so when I do factory reset it automatically gets 10.0.1.175 on WAN port and I can login. But after this DayZero setup, the router is not reachable from LAN and WAN. DHCP is also not working after this setup.
Though I was able to make it work via console, I would really like to figure out why DayZero setup is not working as expected. With my knowledges it would be the best way to use this router.
It looks like it should be a very simple process, but something goes wrong ... Would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

I was able to make it work through the CLI. More over, the version 17 got PnP so it is basically ready to connect out of the box.
I am recording a show video with the entire process.

Hello,
I am fairly sure it is a (yet undocumented probably) bug in the GUI, such as the one below.
Symptom:
An user configuring the ISR1100 router with 16.9 version via webui wizard can not change the primary wan interface from the default GigabitEthernet0/0/1 to GigabitEthernet0/0/0.
Conditions:
Use Configuration Setup Wizard via webui for primary wan configuration running 16.9 IOS XE version.
Using the URL to configure:
http://10.0.0.1/webui/#/dayZeroRouting
https://10.0.0.1/webui/#/dayZeroRouting
Workaround:
Configure the interfaces via CLI commands.

That might be the case. I agree this webui is very buggy
