cannot change load-balancing algorithm 2960-L

hello, need your help.

i have switch cisco WS-C2960L-16TS-LL, Cisco IOS Software, C2960L Software (C2960L-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.2(5c)E, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).

i cannot run command "port-channel load-balance":

cisco01(config)#port-channel ?
auto LACP auto for the system
load-defer Load Share defer time interval

but i can:

cisco01(config)#do show etherchannel load-balance
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Configuration:
src-dst-mac

EtherChannel Load-Balancing Addresses Used Per-Protocol:
Non-IP: Source XOR Destination MAC address
IPv4: Source XOR Destination MAC address
IPv6: Source XOR Destination MAC address

cisco01(config)#

how can i change it? or maybe i need a firmware update?

Hello,

I think the 2960L runs the Lan Lite image, which has a stripped down feature set, load balancing is not part of that.  You cannot upgrade since it has a fixed flash size.
