I could not find a similar question & solution on this yet, so asking here. Probably this is the most basic one, so I apologize, but I still need help.
Lab for CCNA & CCNP exams. I have 3 routers (2811, 2901 & 2911. Two 2960 switches.
I want to make T1 connection between 2901 and 2811.
1. Made short crossover cable.
2. Connected two ports on VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 on both routers.
3. Checked 2901 with sh ip int brief. I do see embeded-service-engine interface (is this one T1?)
4. Checked 2811 with sh ip int brief. No serial interface
BIB2811#sh ip int brief
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status Protocol
FastEthernet0/0 192.168.11.2 YES NVRAM up down
FastEthernet0/1 192.168.3.1 YES NVRAM up down

5. Ran sh diag on 2811

7. sh ip int brief still shows only 2 fa interfaces.
8. yellow and green lights on both cards (2811 & 2901)

No help on this? I'm just wondering if the information I provided in this question is not clear or not enough information was provided ? This is a basic T1 setup question, correct?
