CCNP Routing & Switching Lab Equipment

Hello everyone,

I'm starting my CCNP routing and switching studies and I would like some input on the type of equipment I'm looking to use.  I'm looking at using the following:

3 3560 switches (8 ports)

1 2960 switch (48 ports)

2 2811 routers

2 871 routers

I'm thinking the 871s probably aren't ideal for the CCNP due to their lack of T1 interface(s) for some of the WAN topics such as Frame-Relay.  What do you guys/gals think?

hi terence,

i would agree that you could eliminate your 871s and replace it with at least 1841s.

that way, you'll have 2811s and 1841s that's modular in WAN and can both be upgraded to 15.0 code.
