Hmm, the ASR 1002-X does have there SPA slots, and there's a 10G SPA module, so it might take them. I couldn't find any documentation on that issue, though.
BTW, as the ASR 1002-X maxes out at 36 Gbps , that might be just enough for supporting 3 10g ports plus the 6 built-in gig ports.
