I am a new student to the CCNA,  I am trying to set up a basic lab.  The equipment that I have is as follows:

netgear (wirless/router/switch) which at this time is the only way my network is setup (I have three workstations all windows base)

Cisco 3750G 48 poe switch (not in use yet)

Cisco 2900 49 port switch (not in use yet)

Cisco 1720 w/ T1 WIC (not in use yet)

I would like to be directed to a good lab to practice my first lab to be able to combine all of the devices in some form of fashion.

Thanks

Hi Michael,

Here is a pretty simple LAB you could try out:

    Loopback1---3750------------(Vlan2)-2900-(Vlan2)------------1720---Loopback3

                           |                                                            |

                           |                                                            |

                      Loopback2                                           Loopback4

  1. Configure 2 loopback addresses on the 3750
  2. Configure 2 loopback addresses on the 1720
  3. The L3 devices connect to the 2900 on vlan 2
  4. The loopbacks on either device should be able to ping each other via static routes.

Happy Networking!!
