We are planning to replace the existing two boarder gateway router with two cisco 6504 or 6503  series Switch.

1.We will have two different Uplink Provider, One from one L3 Switch and another one is from other L3 Switch.

2.We are accepting full BGP routing table ( How much memory require?)

3.require at least 4 10gig port at each Router.

For this pls recommend is cisco 6504/6503 is appropriate for these purpose. How much ram we need for BGP routing table and module we require.

I have attached the network diagram for reference.( Router A and Router B need to be replaced)

Thank you very much.

When you say a full BGP routing table, do you mean the full Internet BGP routing table?

If so, you'll want supervisors with XL suffixes (ditto for any DFCs).

Also if so, yes, you should be able to use a 6503 or 6504.

For 4x10g, you can use either the 6704, 6708 or 6716, the latter two are oversubscribed.

With a sup2T (which also has dual 10g on the sup), you can also use the 6908, which isn't oversubscribed.
