Cisco 7606 Router

Hi , 

i am planning to buy cisco 7606 router with 720 3CXL GE switch processor  and SIP 400 module need to know will it support PPPOE or any additional module will be required . we need to have 3000 concurrent PPPOE session . please some one advise should i buy this router .

I can't find any official docs about this, but I read somewhere about version 2 (V2) SPAs being required for PPPoE with SIP-400, which supports up to 8K PPPoE sessions:

If you only need the device for PPPoE (or at least if you don't require switching / layer2 features in the same box) I'd get an ASR1K...
