Hello, Cisco Community! I am in need of some assistance and/or knowledge about configuring my Cisco 892FSP Router. My setup is two levels: on level 1, is my Xfinity modem/router (runs outside to the NID); on level 2, is my Cisco 892FSP (also runs to the outside NID). Both are connected to my ISP via a two-way coax splitter on the outside NID. I am wanting to have wired connections on level 2, that's why I'm wanting to configure this Cisco 892. I have a MoCA adapter on level 2. I've tested the coax cables, no shorts and no breaks. I have my Cisco 892 configured for DHCP on the WAN 9 port. When I connect my MoCA adapter, I only get the light for Ethernet and it does blink every couple mins, not rapidly. The MoCA adapter is an Asus 2.5G Coax to Ethernet. I'm trying to figure out if I need to run a direct connection to the ISP modem via ethernet, or if there's something wrong I'm doing with the coax/MoCA connections. I have MoCA enabled on my network. Maybe I need to setup the Cisco router as a whole new device with my ISP. Not entirely sure. Any help from you all and any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
