Hello Arup,

The 3750 FAQ provides the answer to your question:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/products_tech_note09186a00807ccc79.shtml#clock

Basically, the 3750 does not have a battery-supported system clock.  Therefore, it is advisable to configure the system to use NTP to synchronize it's clock upon reload.

HTH,

Bert

Hello AD,

the quick summary is to configure 'ntp server '' on the device.

The NTP server can be internal on your network or an NTP Server on the internet (eg. NIST).

The full configuration guide in regards to NTP can be found here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_55_se/configuration/guide/swadmin.html

If you have Windows servers, you can configure them to be an authoritative NTP server.

Otherwise, use a dedicated NTP server that synchronizes itself using GPS.
