I bought this router few years ago, but when I changed ISP they gave  me another router. Because my house is big enough, is there any chance  to use the Cisco router as a wireless switch.Any help?

hi Donn,

if you bridge it you can use it as repeater to transport the signal. In the documentation there is how to do for that specific model.

Hope this helps

hi,

I'm facing some set-up error with my WAG54G2 as wireless repeater. it is working fine while im running wired from main router to this repeater, but once i remove the cable and wish to use it as wireless repeater, its not able access to internet, and error show windows cannot detect my SSID and cannot get the valid IP.

May i have the setup documentation as reference?? Do you have any idea of my error faced?

appreciate your advise, thanks.
