Hi,
I've just installed new syslog, and config cisco devices to send the log to this server.
my question is : how can i send all the existing log to syslog server ( the syslog collect the log since the time when the device config only ).

Hi there,
You want to save the existing logs from the device buffer? It can't be done.
As you point out, once you configure a syslog server you only collect the logs generated from that point onward.
cheers,
Seb.

Hi
Have you configured the following line on the Cisco device?
logging host <Server IP address>
Also verify the communication between Router and Server, you can assign a loopback on the Cisco device as source. If you have reloaded the Cisco device the logs will be cleared so you will save the new logs only.
Hope it is useful
