Combine two Cable Modems 2600

Hello,

We have to setup a location that uses 2x cable connections. This will provide us with 2 ethernet connections that we need to combine in to one. We have a 2620 router that i would like to do this on. Could someone point me in the right direction for this?

Hi,

You will need either an additional FE port or better, etherswitch module, or external L2 switch with VLAN support to do this.

Then you will configure two nat statements and two default routes (if not learnt automatically by DHCP) and the router will balance traffic across the two cable modems.
