Hello
Im in the process of upgrading one of our 1751v routers to support a total of SIX analog voice ports. At the moment the router has FOUR analog ports, TWO DID (one card) and TWO FXO (one card). It currently has TWO PVDM-256K-4 DSPs and 64mb of RAM with 8mb of Flash.
My plan is to replace ONE of the PVDM-256K-4 DSPs with a PVDM-256K-8. My understanding is the PVDM-256K-4 + PVDM-256K-8 will support the SIX analog ports. Ill be replacing the TWO port DID card with a FOUR port DID, thus giving us a total of SIX analog ports. I'm looking at this card: http://www.neutronexpress.com/prod.cfm/199877/CISCO/VIC-4FXS/DID=/CISCO_7700_PORT
I can't find anything on whether the 1751v supports the combination of a PVDM-256k-4 and PVDM-256k-8 in the same device..?? If it does, is my memory size ok? Wouldn't think that'd matter but thought I'd check. I'm currently running 12.2(15)ZJ2 IOS on the router...I think that's good.
Any advice?
Thanks
