CPU utilization 80% to 90% due to TTY background process on cisco 2960

I have a 2960X switch that has high CPU usage, I have checked the CPU processes and I see that the TTY Background process is using.
I provide information from show version, show cpu history and show process cpu sorted.

I have searched for information and apparently there is a bug, but it does not meet the requirements of the bug, let me know if anyone has any ideas on how to address the problem and solve the high CPU usage.

My config of line is:

Do you consider the sw config very large or it just switching configuration 

 

Do you take any backup of configuration during this time or not 

 

You may need to use even manager to show process CPU during the issue

Post the complete output to the command "who".

There are

1- ssh/telent 

2- some session and monitor protocol 

Use tty 

Tty  by it nature is heavy on cpu' run many tty make cpu utilize high 

So start by do 

Show line

Show user 

And if you can 

Clear line vty <<- this will kill all vty still open' be carefull before do that 

Share config of vty

If you could reboot your platforms and programm an upgrade also to a suggested IOS Firmware: 15.2.7E8

There is 8% of CPU consuming by Hulc LED Process. This behavior described in CSCtg86211 and is expected for catalyst 2960x switch models.

15.2(2)E7 is old enough,  detected with multiple vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-20154, CVE-2025-20181).
