I have a 2960X switch that has high CPU usage, I have checked the CPU processes and I see that the TTY Background process is using.
I provide information from show version, show cpu history and show process cpu sorted.

Do you consider the sw config very large or it just switching configuration
Do you take any backup of configuration during this time or not
You may need to use even manager to show process CPU during the issue
06-23-2025 11:10 PM
Post the complete output to the command "who".

There are
1- ssh/telent
2- some session and monitor protocol
Use tty
Tty by it nature is heavy on cpu' run many tty make cpu utilize high
So start by do
Show line
Show user
And if you can
Clear line vty <<- this will kill all vty still open' be carefull before do that
Share config of vty

Hello @Nirqa suport
If you could reboot your platforms and programm an upgrade also to a suggested IOS Firmware: 15.2.7E8
06-24-2025 04:39 AM
There is 8% of CPU consuming by Hulc LED Process. This behavior described in CSCtg86211 and is expected for catalyst 2960x switch models.
15.2(2)E7 is old enough, detected with multiple vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-20154, CVE-2025-20181).
