Just rewiring my routing brain after several years of a domain change(born again newbie alert)...but wanted to understand some pointers here
Can we use the CSR1000v vNIC0 (which gets placed in a management VRF by default as its off a IOS XE codebase) as a cryptomap interface ?...or is it only meant for management function/control plane strictly...
Appreciate!

As of today there is no Management vrf in CSR1Kv. You are free to use the vNIC0 as any other normal interface. From XE-3.11 you can use the vnic0 as a normal interface.
Hope this helps
