[DMVPN] ping to local tunnel0 ip address replied from NHRP Hub

From a spoke perspective, when I ping to my interface tunnel0 ip address, I get NHRP reply from the NHS. I'm wondering if this is my misconfiguration or there are any ways to overcome this problem.

Hello,

as far as I remember, Phase 2 DMVPN is supposed to work that way. The first ping (or traceroute) goes through the hub, any subsequent communication goes directly from spoke to spoke.

That said, post the full confgs of both the hub and the spoke...
