DSL Router Configuration All Static IP Assistance

I am attempting to implement a Cisco DSL Router using all static IP Addresses, NO NAT, and NO DHCP.

We have been assigned the following IP Addresses:

  • IP Gateway: Y.Y.Y.97 / 30
  • WAN IP: Y.Y.Y.96 /30
  • LAN IP: X.X.X.206 /29
  • Server IP Addresses: X.X.X.201 – 205 /29

The old DSL router indicates that RFC-1483 Bridged Ethernet (LCC/SNAP) was used. No username/password is used to establish DSL connection.

I have tried a couple of different configurations, but the best I could perform was ping/traceroute from the router. I could not get to the outside from a server.

Any guidance or pointing me to the right direction would be appreciated.

Thank-you

Thomas

Hello,

with all public IP addresses, theoretically your configuration should be straight forward. Which router do you have ? Can you post the configuration you have so far ?
