Hi,
Router 5 has only one path to reach router 6 loopback address (6.6.6.6) in topology table there is no fesible sucessor.how to install all possible path to reach router 6
Router5#sh ip eigrp topology
P 6.6.6.6/32, 1 successors, FD is 156160
via 150.0.0.6 (156160/128256), FastEthernet0/0

only one path to reach r5 to r6 via switch, but i want to use all path i mean from r5-r4-r6 r5-r2-r6 include serial interface.
R5#sh ip eigrp topology all-links

please not understand can you explain little brief
current routing path is
reported distance= 156160 but RD cant be decreased but can increase
Fesible distance= 128256
all other router fessible distance is 156160 are same but reported distance is higher then current distance
10-13-2013 04:31 AM
The reported distance is not meeting the Feasible.condition of being lower than the current feasible distance of the current route

Hello.
Just in theory (because in production we will have to answer a lot of question before) you should increase delay on R5 f0/0 by 1; this will allow other neighbors to become FS (but could affect other routing).
10-13-2013 08:01 AM
Hello
I wouldn't increase or decrease any delay on either rtr5/6 but decrease it on the other rtrs to make them more appealing.
However this need to be calculated has to not change the current routing path.
P 6.6.6.6/32, 1 successors, FD is 156160, serno 163
via 150.0.0.6 (156160/128256), FastEthernet0/0
via 25.0.0.2 (158720/156160), FastEthernet2/0
via 45.0.0.4 (158720/156160), FastEthernet0/1, serno 135
via 205.0.0.2 (2300416/156160), Serial1/0, serno 1
via 25.0.0.2 (158720/156160), FastEthernet2/0 - the composite metric and the reported distance is currently higher then the FD of the current route
If you lower the delay value on the attached rtr interface of fa0/2 this will also change the composite metric and its reported distance value to be lower
This is calculated by a default eigrp defined formula of bw & delay
Bw (lowest interface bw on route path) / 10^7
+
Delay / 10 (total sum on interfaces delay on route path)
= bw+delay * 256
So you need to be careful of changing any values if you are not totally confident in eigrp metric manipulation

Ok, if you don't want to change delay, then we could tune metric directly:
R5:
access-list 6 permit 6.6.6.6
router eigrp 1
offset-list 6 in 1 f0/0
variance 128
10-13-2013 10:04 AM
Helllo
Can you please explain the offset, why would it help in this situation and how do you get a varience of 128?

variance 15 can get 2342400 bycomparing serial interface reported distance
via 205.0.0.2 (2300416/156160), Serial1/0, serno 1
what is the use of this command ?
offset-list 0 in 1000 fa 0/0
10-13-2013 11:02 AM
hello
the.offset pist.you have stated.will apply an interface metric of 10000 to all routes traversing that link
the varience is for load balancing on equal and unequal eirgp routeing paths
what you originally was querying was to obtain multiple feasible sucessors not to load balance -am i correct?
