How comprehensive is Cisco's "Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies V1.3" training?
Would this, along with some outside materials/GNS3, cover enough topics with enough depth to pass the exam?

Hello hquino,
The CCNP ENCOR (350-401) exam, "Implementing and Operating Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies," is a 120-minute, professional-level certification exam that tests your knowledge of implementing and operating core enterprise network technologies, including architecture, virtualization, infrastructure, network assurance, security, and automation.
If you can afford the price/cost...It is recommended to go with official instructor-led training from Cisco Network Academy or you can purchase Cisco online training programs from CLN store or Cisco U. You can access virtual labs when you are learning course through online like Cisco U. Additionally, You can also purchase Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) license for Lab practices.
If you have limitations on your Investment, I suggest go through the Cisco ENCOR Official Cert Guide. Additionally, you can find and enrol some third-party online trainings like UDEMY. Download and use ENCOR exam blue print. To practice labs, you can use simulations like: GNSv3, Eve-ng, Cisco Packet Tracer..!
I hope the above information is useful..!
All the best for your ENCOR preparations..!!
Best regards

I took the exam two years ago and can say that the ILT was by far not enough for me to pass—not even close. Most importantly, I had done most of the topics in the exams in practice or lab before. It all depends on your experience, but my general advice would be to take as much time as possible to lab everything to a very deep level. It's no easy-peasy.

I also took the exam two years ago and used for study the OCG and CML for practicing. Real life hands-on experience with the technologies covered in ENCOR are the key in passing the exam.

Hello Liviu,
Thanks for the valuable input, was the OCG and CML a good source for you to pass the exam?

Hello watson.james796@gmail.com ,
short answer - yes, it helped.
I had the hands on experience, but then I took on some management positions for 10 years - that put some distance between me and the technical skills needed to pass the ENCOR exam. Reading the OCG and practicing the in the CML helped bridge that gap.
