Hi,

 %AMDP2_FE-6-EXCESSCOLL: Ethernet0/1 TDR=0, TRC=0

I am also facing same issue but my frame size is 256 only , but i am not hitting reaming frame sizes like (128,512,1024 Frame Sizes).

Do both sides of the link duplex match?

Hi Joseph,
Yes both sides are FULL DEPLEX only.
But it is hitting only 256 Frame size in C5921 IOS .
Can I know what is the use of these commands:
1. logging discriminator EXCESS severity drops 6 msg-body drops EXCESSCOLL
2. logging console discriminator EXCESS

I don't see how your getting any collisions if both interfaces are (truly running) full duplex.

Since I see you're a Cisco Employee, you don't have access to TAC or any other internal resources to address this?
