Hi,
I want to know about frame relay fragmentaion ( in detail ) , how it is different from normal fragmeataion ? What framerelay need to do here ??

Hi,
Try to search for FRF.12 for more information. If you imply to ppp fragmentation under "normal" fragmentation then the difference is the layer 2 protocol itself. The frame-relay fragmentation simply cut the longer frames to smaller in order to shorten the serialization delay (especially on slower links).

Thanks for yor reply. Well m y doubt is "how this FRF is diff from normal fragmeataion " . Both are chopping big frames into small ones to reduce delay.What role Framerelay is playing here.

Hi,
I still don't see what you mean normal fragmentation. The fragmentation can be done on layer2 (FR or PPP) or layer3 (think of IP and MTU).
