Well it is hard to find ios for 2621 that supports GLBP. Am I doing something wrong or ... Have someone did this?

Thanks!

Hello,

according to the software advisor, IOS IP Plus 12.2(15)ZJ4 (image name c2600-is-mz.12.215.ZJ4) supports GLBP.

GP

I saw taht, and this is what I do not understand. Only this one?

Hello,

it depeds on the feature pack, the one above is IP Plus. Which one are you planning on using (e.g. Enterprise Plus) ?

GP

Hi,

That's not quite true...

According to Feature navigator, there are 427 images for the 2621 that support GLBP..

The earliest release that supports it is: 12.2(15)T and you could get any of the following feature sets within it that will support GLBP:

IP - c2600-i-mz.12.2-15.T

IP PLUS - c2600-is-mz.12.2-15.T

IP/FW/IDS - c2600-io3-mz.12.2-15.T

IP/H323 - c2600-ix-mz.12.2-15.T

IP/IPX/APPLETALK - c2600-bin-mz.12.2-15.T

REMOTE ACCESS SERVER - 2600-c-mz.12.2-15.T

Essentially, any release above 12.2(15)T should support it.

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh

Hello,

above is just the result I got from using the feature navigator for IP Plus (Early Deployment) for the GLBP feature, wether or not that is true would depend on the reliability of that tool. Unfortunately I do not have a 2621 to test this on...

Category: Routers

Series: 2600 Series Multiservice Platforms

Model: 2621 Multiservice Platform

OS: Cisco IOS System Software

Engine/CPU 2620-2621

Feature set: IP PLUS

Life Cycle: Early Deployment

Train: 12.2ZJ

Software Image: 12.2(15)ZJ4 (c2600-is-mz.12.215.ZJ4)

Feature Selections: GLBP Gateway Load Balancing Protocol

For Enterprise Plus, I got the same result: 12.2(15)ZJ4 (c2600-js-mz.12.215.ZJ4)

For IP Only and IP/FW/IDS, I get no (?) results...

For ENTERPRISE/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 3DES I get also only that one result: 12.2(15)ZJ4 (c2600-jk9o3s-mz.12.215.ZJ4)

Confusing to say the least, I guess you could try one of the releases mentioned by Paresh and see if that works...

GP

yeah, that's my luck. I have 2621, I need to connect over SSH on it, and would like to have GLBP and 12.3. Looks impossible.
