Hello,
Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to force a user to a web page where they have to put in a password in order to get out to the Internet? The equipment in place would be a bunch of 1230 APs and a 2621XM router. The router can be upgraded is need be but not the APs.
Thanks in advance! All replies rated.

You can always look to use a free radius server or the Microsoft one.
Anyway have a look at this link which is about using IOS authentication proxy. You will need a feature set for your router that supports it which is the feature set that supports the IOS firewall -
Edit - note if you can get the right feature set and a Radius server at minimal cost then this would be fairly cheap to implement other than your time. But you may want to look at Opensource software as well that could run on a Linux server if you had the hardware and expertise.
