high cpu,policy

I have a 7206VXR (NPE-G1) router as interface with the mpls network. I am doing policy in this router ( shaping+wfq+pq).

The remote sites are about 300 with BW of 2 Mbps each one.

I applied de policy in a Gi inteface of de 7200.

The cpu is always high with traffic ( not processing).

Is there any other way to applide policing in this topology, so that la consumer of cpu were not to high.

Thanks.

Marcelo

By default policy-routing is process-switched, so to enable this to be fast-switched you must add the following command to the fa0/0 interface:

- ip route-cache policy
