I have two vlan 10 and 20 IN ONE L2 SWITCH. vlan 10(IP ADDRESS=10.10.10.10) vlan 20(IP ADDRESS=20.20.20.20). Two PC connected to the switch pc1(IP ADDRESS=10.10.10.100) to vlan 10 and pc2(20.20.20.100) to vlan 20. I'am able to ping from 10.10.10.100 to 20.20.20.20 and 20.20.20.200 to 10.10.10.10. But not able to ping pc1 to pc2 and vice versa.
the packet is reaching the gateway but not the machine.
thanks in advance.

Hello,
can you elaborate ? A layer 2 switch typically has only one IP address, for management purposes...

created svi vlan 10 and vlan 20
1. pc1(10.10.10.100) able to ping int vlan10(10.10.10.10) [pc1 is in vlan10]
2. pc1(10.10.10.100) able to ping int vlan20(20.20.20.20) [pc1 is in vlan10]
3.pc2(20.20.20.200) able to ping int vlan10(10.10.10.10) [pc2 is in vlan20]
4.pc2(20.20.20.200) able to ping int vlan20(20.20.20.20) [pc2 is in vlan20]
5.pc1(10.10.10.100) not able to ping pc2(20.20.20.200)[PC1 IS IN VLAN10 AND PC2 IS IN VLAN20]
SO MY QUESTION IS IF PC1(10.10.10.100) CAN REACH THE GATEWAY OF VLAN20(20.20.20.20) THEN WHY ITS NOT REACHING PC2(20.20.20.200) WHICH IS IN VLAN20(20.20.20.20)
AND
SAME WITH PC2

Hello,
It means IP routing is enabled (If not enable the IP routing) and check the firewall on the system or IP address with the command line on the system.
