How is functionality of ARP handles in IPv6

IPv6 doesn't support ARP. So how is this functionality handled in IPv6?

IPv6 doesn't support broadcast. ARP works on broadcast. So this is handled using Neighbor Solicitation which is part of ICMPv6.
