how to achieve failover in pfr/oer with 2 ISP links ?

Hi,

  I have 2 routers R1 with link to ISP1 and R2 with link to ISP2.

  My R1 is acting as MC/BR1 and R2 as BR2.

  I m monitoring 2 prefixes and master is learning the prefixes too.For one prefix,best is BR1 and for the other its BR2 depending on throughput,delay,etc configured in pfr master.

  Now when i make the WAN interface of BR2 down,the MC is not learning prefixes.It goes to DISABLED state.

  Only by makin the WAN down, i can check failover.

  Can anyone help me ?

That's expected behavior.

If you have only two paths and one goes down, i.e. leaving one, what's left for OER/PfR to compute as best path?
