How To Check & Configure IPSec In Cisco 4451 Router

Hi All,

Need your support & solution.

We have two 4451 cisco router & we have configured OSFP & also licenses for IPSec.

I want know that "how can I check IPSec is configured or not"

We want to use IPSec for only secure our router communication with other devices.

hi,

have you applied the security license (securityk9) on the 4K ISR?

you can verify with show version and if you can issue a show crypto isakmp sa command.

if you got ISAKMP or IKE phase 1 and IKE phase 2 policies configured then it means you got IPSec running (or not).there are many ways to implement IPSec, so what kind are you looking for? i.e. site-to-site, DMVPN, etc.

the commands usually starts with the keyword 'crypto'

kindly post a sanitized show run to verify.

Kindly let me know how can understand IPSec is configured in router. 

Not for VPN or Site To Site VPN we just IPSec in router for internal security & data security.

It's possible to configure GRE IP Sec between Cisco ISR4451 Router to fortinet firewall.
