Hi all, I have a 2500 router running IOS (C2500-JS-L), Version 12.0(10).
It currently uses a T1 or Frame circuit and uses our centralized servers at HQ for dhcp.
I want to control dhcp at the router. How can i do that?
On my 1750 routers with 12.1.3(xt), I can use ip dhcp pool, etc.
Is that possible on 2500 routers with my IOS?
Thanks

I do not have anything running that version of code to test on, so I can not give you an authoritative answer. The best way to answer your question is to go into config mode on your router and attempt to enter ip dhcp pool command and see if it is accepted. If it is accepted then configuration of DHCP on the router is supported. And if it is not accepted then configuration of DHCP on the router is not supported.

'ip dhcp pool' - This command was introduced in 12.0(1)T.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipaddr/command/reference/iad_dhc2.html#wp1011738
'Cisco IOS DHCP Server' was first introduced in 12.0T train.

12.0(10) would not have this feature.
