I have a Cisco 2921/k9 which doesn't have any IOS as of now & running in ROMmon. I want to load c2900-universalk9_npe-mz.SPA.151-2.T4.1.bin using USB drive. Since I'm a newbie, please guide step by step. Thanks!!

hi,

further adding to leo's post, after you've successfully booted the IOS from USB, you could copy the IOS to the router's flash:

copy usbflash0:c2900-universalk9_npe-mz.SPA.151-2.T4.1.bin flash

also make sure your config register is 0x2102.

If the USB stick is supported and recognized by the router, the command to boot the IOS from ROMmon is:  boot usbflash0:c2900-universalk9_npe-mz.SPA.151-2.T4.1.bin.
