Are any interfaces on device from which you are trying to ping in up up state?

Yes all are in up state with Eigrp config. on them

Similar messages I saw only in the case that IP address is not present on device, or all interfaces are down. I guess this is root cause for warning message.

This was output with interfaces down, no IP addresses present on router.

ping 1.1.1.1
% Unrecognized host or address, or protocol not running.

So, can you, please, provide running configurations?

Hello,

do you have ip routing enabled globally ?

R4#conf t

R4(config)#ip routing
