HWIC-4ESW and MULTI-VRF (vrf lite)

can I configure the HWIC-4ESW to operate in different vrfs (lite) on a Cisco 1841 ?

I am also endeavouring to use this module (on a 3825) and need to assign a single port to a VRF. The document mentioned does not specifically cover this topic.

The port is successfully placed into the vrf (and vlan). In the vrf arp table a pc connected to the port can be seen by its MAC address but no IP traffic is able to flow.

Has anyone had a positive result and managed to have a port in a VRF and get IP connectivity?.
