insufficient processor memory

Hi,

I have a cisco 7206 VXR with c7200-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T8.bin ios. Most of the time i am not able to login through my tacacs password .After reboot, the router acts as normal and again after a few hours same thing happens . pls find the log details .If any body knows the solution please share .

You might have some configuration issue that consumes RAM over time (e.g. a static route pointing to an interface w/o a next hop IP) or a memory leak due to some IOS bug.  The former is corrected by avoiding that configuration (or obtaining more RAM), the latter often by upgrading your IOS.

There is possibly something that might be eating up the memory over time.

You can check for memory leak using the below command:

- show memory debug leak chunk

This can help understand which process is having a memory leak. Be cautious when you are running this command, this can cause high CPU on the router.
