Hi all,
Seeking Hardware and configuration support.
Our Firm had acquired another company and from IT point of view management wants to link both offices to share data and application.
Both companies will be linked with Redline Outdoor Wireless. Fortunately both companies are using different IP ranges. what configuration is required to interlink both companies.
Wireless provider suggested to terminate wireless link on 1841 Router and LAN connection to Layer3 Switch.
Our Current Setup, i hope this information is helpful
Internet-----------Router----------Firewall-----------switch
internet router : 2600
firewall : cisco ASA 5510
Switch : 3560
users : 300
servers : 10
Thank You

Hi CP,
Do both locations have Internet access and are you planing to keep them or consolidate to one Internet access for both sites?

What equipment do you have at your head office?
What sort of bandwidth will the wireless connection provide between the two sites?

Depending on the bandwidth of your ISP, I'd get an ISR G1 (probably a 2851 or better), and replace the 2600 and do away the ASA.

I recommend you engage a systems integrator into the picture as it's not usually easy to join to companies' systems and networks together.
