Hello, in the company where I work we have a router cisco 1841 and youbube want to block, which in effect with http filtering I have succeeded, the problem now is that employees are going to skip this filter youtube with https, then the question would be: how could filter the https pages?
I just wish to not have access to youtube, and the rest could access https pages normally.

Hi,
just use an ACl denying access to youtube IP range. You can find it with whois.net.

Hi,
I think NBAR will do the job, here's an example of its application: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps359/products_tech_note09186a00800fc176.shtml
if you're going to against youtube only, then it shouldn't have a big CPU pressure.
The other and more expansive(thus more scalable and intelligent) way is to use N2H2 or Websence servers.
And depending on what type of shop you are running, you might just spread the appropriate Group Policy Objects across your domain and don't bother with the router. It will also be more scalable and will allow some exceptions ;)
HTH,
Ivan.
