IOS Upgradation for 6506E

Hi everyone,

we are using 6506E switch in our Datacenter. we are planning to upgrade the new cisco suggested release for the core switch.

At present we having "IP services 12.2(12A) version" this software gone for EOD.

we are going to upgrade to 12.2 to 15.2 version. we are having the supported Dram and Flash for the 15.2 IOS. Can we proceed the Same? or else we go with the 12.X series latest edition ios?

Due to the complexity of the "location" of the chassis, no one is going to "recommend" what IOS you should/shouldn't go to.

It is your responsibility to read the Release Notes and do further research and testing before jumping to a conclusion suited for the nature of YOUR network.
