We have added an IP security camera at our office that can be viewed from the outside on a mobile device. I'm not comfortable leaving this up for too long without some type of separation from our office network LAN.
What would be the best way to only give this device access to only the internet? Would you use the router or a switch to do it? A brief overview suggestion would be be very helpful.
We have ASA routers and Cisco switches on our internal network.
Thanks in Advance

I would put the camera in a separate VLAN and allow Internet access for that VLAN.

Hello,
typically, you would put the IP camera in a DMZ. That way, it has only access to the Internet and is separated from the rest of the network.
