'ipfib' service impact in Nexus 7000 Series Switch Modules

what is the impact of 'ipfib' service crash in Switch Modules of Nexus 7000 Series.

can able to see the log as :

'ipfib' service hasn't caught signal 6

how will impact this service crash. Can some body help me to understand this.

Model: NEXUS c7004 Sys ver: 6.1(3)

Users reported as some virtual IPs (Exchange Server Cluster Ips) are not reachable from source client connected to L2 Switch behind the L3 (FIB service Crashed). Same time from the L3 Switch these Ips are reachable and other all Ips is same Vlan also reachable from everywhere.

Some tough misbehaviour. How FIB Service crash can be impacted the switch modules.?Anyone hav ideas?
