Hi All,
I am getting this message "%ISSU-SP-3-INCOMPATIBLE_PEER_UID" and it also says that image in peer is incompatible, couldn't find any reference to this anywhere.
This causes the standby SUP720-3B to go to 'COLD' standby mode.
I have configured sso, but it reverts to rpr after standby reload.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Cheers

Hello Sultan,
ISSU is in service software upgrade and is based on SSO
Cisco IOS Releases 12.2SRB1 and later support ISSU on Cisco 7600 series routers. During an ISSU upgrade, the router continues to route and forward traffic, which allows you to upgrade from one software release to another with minimal system downtime (between 0 and 3 seconds).
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/7600/ios/12.2SR/configuration/guide/efsuovrw.html#wp1095736
Do you have two SUP720-3B on the chassis with the same IOS code ?
The message looks like that the active Sup doesn't like the standby one.
If so I would consider an upgrade to 12.2SRB1 or later.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,
Appreciate your quick response.
I have 2 SUP, and the IOS is 12.2 (33) SRB2.
Still having that problem.
Would appreciate any inputs.
Thanks
