Hi
I've recently replaced a 7206VXR running 12.4(24)T5 with a ASR1002X running 3.10.2S and am having an issue applying the original egress or outbound QoS on the GRE/IPSec tunnels we use to connect to WAN sites using ADSL. I receive the following error message,
Only class-default shaper in flat policy-map on main interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0 can co-exist with QoS on sub targets
I assume this is because the QoS policy on the 7206 used a nested or 2 level heirarchical policy - child policy for treating the traffic class and a parent policy for the shaping,
i.e.
policy-map WAN_egress_parent
class class-default
shape average XXXXXXXXXXXX
service-policy WAN_egress_child
Can anyone advise why this is a problem for the ASR but not the previous 7206 or had any similar experiences?
Presently I'm trying to keep things as like-for-like as possible pending a review of our entire QoS policy to someting conforming to Cisco's medianet 4.0 approach so am reluctant to make too many changes.
Thanks.
