Join multicast group on another RP

Hi,

I have a new network attached to me with its own RP. I need that network to join a multicast group that my RP  hosts but I cannot change the RP of the new network. How would I accomplish this?

You have to use msdp to that.

Thanks for your response. We have setup msdp now using the document you provided and some youtube. The issue we are having now is the MSDP peer comes up but we do not have an SA when showing msdp peer. Doesnt seem to be working just yet.
