I have a client that is in the process of extending there operations, "Moving the server farm to a Colo and out of the home office". I have a 1gig L2 fiber conection between locations. In doing so extending there vlans and IP space between the two locations. Servers can be at home office or the colo and exist withing the same IP space. at some point all of the servers will be moved to the Colo, but not for some time, hence why for now it is easier just to extend the vlans. What I need to do is come up with a way to back up that primary circuit across public internet. Possibly with L2tpV3 over IPSec. the equipment for this will be for this conection exclusively, all other internet trafic from either location will be handled by ASAs on both sides. The internet conections are 1 gig at the Colo. and 25mb on the other "to be expanded but odds are to no more then 100bm. The local lans on both ends are using Catalyts 3750s IP enabled. I am very open to sugestions and looking for hardware recomendations to accomplish what I need to do... Thanks Smitty
